Adriana Santiago

Partial to anything containing coffee or maple syrup, Adriana is a proud Colombian Canadian TV writer and author of contemporary romance novels who loves warm sandy beaches as much as white, fluffy snow. No wonder that her favourite romance trope is opposites attract.

Working as a digital marketer during the day and rewriting the perfect first kiss at night, Adriana saw her dreams come true when her name made it into the credits of her parents’ favourite Colombian TV shows, and she officially became a writer. From there she continued writing episodes for successful drama series in her home country, such as “Parents and Children” in 2005, “Beautiful” in 2008, and “Women on the Edge” from 2010 to 2016 .

A telenovelas’ connoisseur and addicted to real-life, everyday dramas, Adriana aspires to connect with her readers through stories of passionate women succeeding in their careers, falling in love with equally fabulous men, and finding their happy ever afters on their own terms.

When she isn’t at her desk plotting the next meet-cute, she’s busy planning the next family vacation trip, tending her vegetable garden, or enjoying the company of her favourite humans in the world, her husband and her son, in the beautiful province of Nova Scotia, Canada.
