Since she started, there’s nothing this smart, career-driven woman wants more than to become the agency’s next Digital Media Director. That had been her goal, over the last few years, when no other type of dream filled her heart. But when the opportunity finally arises, it comes with an unexpected challenge no amount of education or work experience could have prepared her for: the return of Diego, the love of her life, and the man she jilted at the altar five years ago.

Diego, her ex-fiancé — who probably hates her — is now her boss. The situation would be laughable if it wasn’t dangerous. Who knows if he’s back to claim her head on a silver platter to fulfill his desire for revenge — because that must be the only reason for him to stay and agree to work with her, knowing too well how hard it would be to balance their personal feelings with their professional life.

If Manuela’s worst fears come true and Diego is back for retribution, her promising career at BrandsMedia will be over. She’ll probably need to quit and run away from him once more unless…she finds a way to redeem herself for her past mistakes, gather the courage to win him back, and fight for a second chance at love.
